After a few requests from our friends up north hunkering down for the storm, we've extended our last registration deadline for SXSW 2013 to 11:59pm (CST) on Monday, February 11th. That means you have more time to get your 2013 SXSW Registration squared away. For those of you not getting buried in snow, you also have until Monday night to save up to $155 off of the walkup-rate.

2013 Showcasing artist Nicki Bluhm
The annual Rhode Island Newport Folk Festival will be hosting an official SXSW nighttime showcase on Tuesday, March 12th at Blackheart along with co-presenters Paste Magazine and Sennheiser. The night will open with alternative country band Houndmouth and folk rockers The Lone Bellow, followed by an acoustic set by singer-songwriter, Jason Isbell. Also billed for the lineup are Spirit Family Reunion and The Last Bison. San Francisco based act Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers will headline this night filled of roots music.
