Video Spotlight: Dum Dum Girls on the SXSW 2014 Radio Day Stage

Written by Rory Burbeck | April 17, 2014

Dum Dum Girls have been on a remarkable run so far this year. The quartet, led by singer Dee Dee Penny, released their third full-length record, Too True, via Sub Pop in January. Paste iterated that it’s “a spotless record production-wise, but it also takes Dee Dee’s songwriting another step forward.”

Since the band performed at the SXSW Music Festival this past March, they’ve been one of the most talked about artists of the year. Watch the video above, and you’ll begin to see why.

If “I Got Nothing” isn’t enough, two more Dum Dum Girls performances on the SXSW 2014 Radio Day Stage are now available! Watch “Rest of Our Lives” here and “Under These Hands” here. The band will be performing at Coachella this weekend before heading off for a full European tour.

We’ll be back with more live SXSW 2014 Music Festival performances on the Radio Day Stage, as well as North Door, throughout the spring and summer! Keep an eye on the blog and our YouTube channel for more.
