Dan Steinberg started his career in the live music business at the young age of 16, producing club shows in Denver and becoming a talent buyer shortly after graduating from high school. Dan eventually founded Square Peg Concerts in October 2004, a company that currently produces live events all over the United States and has worked with Daniel Tosh, Cheech and Chong, The Avett Brothers, and more!
SXSW 2014 Session: Touring Tips Straight from the Trenches
Elle Mahoney is currently the production manager for Conspirare and an event stage manager at Texas Performing Arts. Previously, she has stage managed for Blues on the Green, Fusebox, SXSW, Pachanga Festival, & more. We’re told that Mahoney, a graduate of the St. Edwards University theater program, can beat just about anyone in a high-kick contest.
SXSW 2014 Session: Crossing Over: Secrets of Performing Arts Centers
Bill Bragin has spent much of his career operating big performing arts centers and theaters. He is currently the Director of Public Programs at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. Prior to working for the Lincoln Center, he presented shows including acts from all over the world and from a wide variety musical genres as the director of Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater.
SXSW 2014 Session: Back 2 School Special: Truth Behind College Buying
Kelly Benini is currently the student talent buyer for Syracuse University, working to book and promote ten concerts per year for Syracuse University venues. Even at a young age, Benini is bringing plenty of live music experience to the table, having worked directly with talent agents, tour managers, and production managers.
