Nacional Records is bringing its unique and critically-acclaimed sounds to SXSW on Thursday, March 13th at 8pm, with an official showcase at Palm Door on Sixth (508 E 6th St).

The Nacional Records & Friends showcase features a diverse line-up of cutting-edge hip-hop, raucous garage rock, global pop, experimental electronica and more, including four of the label’s most buzzed about bands plus special guest appearances from our friends, Irene Diaz and Fofe Y Los Fetiches. Named one of the top indie labels in the U.S. by Billboard, Nacional Records represents superstar acts such as Manu Chao, Tom Tom Club and Los Fabulosos Cadilacs plus up-and-coming buzz bands from across the Americas and down the block.

The Nacional Records SXSW showcase will feature pioneering Mexican electronic DJ duo Nortec Collective's Bostich + Fussible, multi-Grammy nominated Ana Tijoux (as heard on Breaking Bad), Thievery Corporation vocalist Natalia Clavier and Davila 666’s frontman AJ Davila, who has recently been featured everywhere from Pitchfork to SPIN to NPR.
