Little Daylight - "Overdose": SXSW 2013 Showcasing Artist

The three friends known as Little Daylight, who peppered 2012 with some of the year’s most infectious remixes, have finally stepped to the fore. Today Little Daylight has debuted their first original song, “Overdose”, alongside its music video.

Little Daylight took some of 2012’s best pop songs and infused them with pulsing beats and a tribal flair. The trio has created official remixes for Passion Pit, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Mowgli’s, Temper Trap, St. Lucia, and The Freelance Whales, with more to come.

Hashback Hashish - "Soul Sleeper": SXSW 2013 Showcasing Artist

Hashback Hashish is the stage name of Ashish Sachan, an incredibly creative and persistently innovative DJ/ Producer, based in Delhi, India. Beginning by experimenting with the fascinating music scene in Perth regularly, he was quickly getting recognized because of his distinct sound at Rise. Upon his arrival home, his inarguably superior taste in music mated with his creative streak - the lovechild of which is Hashback Hashish.

The Postelles - "Running Red Lights": SXSW 2013 Showcasing Artist

"Sound check is always easy," explains Daniel Balk lead singer for the young twenty-somethings New York City band, the Postelles. "When we play gigs we just plug in our instruments and play to have fun. There\'s no synthesizer or computer to set up. It's about the songs, not the sounds we're able to make." This is a sentiment that distinguishes the band - bassist John Speyer, drummer Billy Cadden, and lead guitarist David Dargahi -- from many of their contemporaries. Of late, the New York city\'s music scene has been defined by a set of Brooklyn bands.

Wild Cub - "Thunder Clatter": SXSW 2013 Showcasing Artist

It's been less than a year since Wild Cub made their debut at Bonnaroo and were named one of The Wall Street Journal's "CMJ Bands to Watch". Formed in early 2012 by songwriter-composer Keegan DeWitt and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Bullock, Wild Cub's debut LP "Youth" was released this August in the United States and showcases the duo's dexterity in transitioning between infectious electro-pop, tropical rhythms, and quiet washes of cinematic reflection.

The Hood Internet - "One For The Record Books": SXSW 2013 Showcasing Artist

ABX (pronounced like three consecutive letters) and STV SLV (pronounced "steve sleeve") are collectively known as The Hood Internet. For the past five years, the duo have been chewing up the indie, pop, rap and R&B landscapes and spitting out pure fire. Like laptop-armed alchemists, they draw from their expansive interest in the many faces of modern music and re-imagine songs for mass public consumption through thehoodinternet.com.

Suie Paparude - "Moartea Boxelor": SXSW 2013 Showcasing Artist

The first releases by Suie Paparude - between 1995 and 1998 ( the first LPs Suie Paparude (1995) and Salveaza-te (1997), and the 1998 EP Musca) wear engraved in their soul and tempo the rave period harmonic curves of percussion and rhythm electronics that go beyond the membranes of the decade's speakers. An aggressive yet gentle start, like a firm embrace.
