SXsocial is a networking tool developed specifically for SXSW attendees and it's a great way to meet and network with registrants before, during and after SXSW. If you're looking to find your colleagues, clients, partners, or new connections among SXSW registrants then you can use SXsocial to search for registrants by name, position, company and more. Find someone you are interested in meeting? You can send them a message or "star" them to mark them as a favorite for later.
Put together your profile with a bio, tag yourself with interests and use "My Links" to show other users where they can learn more about you or your company and connect with you before the event. You can also find out which of your friends on Twitter, Facebook and Linked In are attending SXSW 2013.
Using SXsocial, registrants can save time by uploading a badge photo in advance, making or changing hotel reservations, and updating contact information.

Registrants will need to activate their SXsocial account to access all the features of SXsocial. If you're currently registered for SXSW 2013, be on the lookout for an e-mail with your activation code and instructions. Then you can head over to social.sxsw.com and enter your activation code. You'll then be able to use all the features SXsocial has to offer.
Are you already registered but haven't received your activation code? You can get your activation code sent to you by logging in to SXsocial and hitting the "Resend activation key" link.
