The Come & Capture Film Factory, new for SXSW Film 2013, encourages registrants to learn, discuss, explore and interact with the newest tools for creating content and go out and capture their experiences at SXSW. With panels and workshops running the gamut from smartphone movie making to the latest options for video collaboration, the Come and Capture Film Factory is a hub you’ll want to return to day after day.
Taking place March 9–12 from 11AM to 6PM and located at the InterContinental Stephen F. Austin Hotel in the Capital Ballroom, Section B, each day will include a panel and workshop with the space turning into a demo pavillion in the afternoon with products from companies including: WeVideo, Mozilla, BlackMagic Design, Clinch Labs, Equilibrium and Olloclip.
Panel discussions will include Easy as 1, 2, 3: Point, Shoot and Share, The Social Video Race, Changing Lives Through Collaborative Video Storytelling and Innovation & Filmmaking: Capture & Shape Content. Workshops from Sony, the Bui Brothers, Mozilla and JumperCut will give registrants the opportunity to go in-depth each day.
