SXSW! Today is the first day of the IFC Fairgrounds! IFC is bringing some of the best music, local food, and activities to Palm Park (3rd St. and Red River) for a “Slighty Off” extravaganza. The Fairgrounds is free and open to SXSW registrants and the public, no RSVP required!
The IFC Fairgrounds features some of the best bands during SXSW Music, with a killer three-day lineup curated by Superfly Presents. Kicking off the Fairgrounds at 2:30pm is native New Zealanders and indie-folk outfit, Streets of Laredo! Jeremy Messersmith, Glassnote Records’ (Mumford & Sons, Phoenix, The Temper Trap) latest signee, follows soon after with a set starting at 4:40pm. Rock mainstays the Hold Steady hit the Fairgrounds stage at 6:40pm, followed by British import psych-rock band Temples at 7:40! Along with one of the festival’s top music lineups, the Fairgrounds will feature the largest fun slide in Austin, presented by Twizzlers, free ice cream sandwiches from Cool Haus, carnival games to score free beer tickets, and local prize-winning food trucks Slab BBQ & Chi’lantro.
Mark the IFC Fairgrounds on your schedule, and check below for all three days of IFC’s kick-ass music lineup. Come get “Slightly Off” with IFC!
