There will be hundreds of performances at over 40 stages around the city in both traditional, and non-traditional spaces. Everywhere between bars on Rainey street, to houses and co-working spaces on the east-side, have signed up to host local bands.

The goal of the festival is to foster connections between local artists, venues, and the people of Austin.

Solstice Austin is also a part of a bigger worldwide celebration: on June 21st, over 800 cities around the world will be celebrating music together. The goal of the worldwide festival is to bring the entire world together for a singular celebration of music: the language of the soul.

The festival is produced by the folks who throw Pecan Street Festival, and the Austin based tech startup, Solstice, that powers technology for the worldwide movement. Find out more here.
