Santiago, Chile is a hub for Innovation and progressive thought - drawing entrepreneurs, artists and creative thinkers from around the world. The International Festival of Social Innovation (#fiis2013), held in Santiago from October 23-27, will celebrate just this, featuring a packed schedule of panels, music, workshops and networking opportunities.

FIIS aims to close the gaps between growing businesses, communities and the environment by showcasing the potential for entrepreneurs to create positive, sustainable social change. In 2013, the event will host a wide variety of speakers including Jimmy Wales (co-founder of Wikipedia), Christopher Fabian (head of UNICEF’s innovation unit) and Terry Kellogg (CEO of 1% For The Planet) and performances by Chevy Metal, Cafe Tacvba, Francisca Valenzuela and many more.
