Photo by Jessica Cox The SXSW V2V 2014 PanelPicker is now open for community votes and comments. Now through May 9, you have the chance to weigh in on what sessions you would like to see at SXSW V2V 2014 this July. To participate in this process, simply log on to panelpicker.sxsw.com and create a free PanelPicker account. Then you are set and ready to go!

First introduced at the SXSW Interactive Festival in 2007, the SXSW PanelPicker offers the community the opportunity to submit, review, comment and vote on the proposals that they want to see become a part of SXSW events.

PanelPicker public votes and comments account for about 30% of the decision-making process. SXSW V2V Advisory Board comments and votes account for 40% of the process. Finally, the SXSW staff take the data gathered from the community and the Advisory Board and weigh that against their own evaluation to determine the final lineup for the event.

Now is the time for PanelPicker session organizers to rally their communities to vote for, and comment on, their proposal. To help you with this task we have created a few handy embeddable webtiles to help promote PanelPicker ideas for voting.
