All this week we are sharing videos of some of the great speakers who joined us in Las Vegas last year for the first-ever SXSW V2V. Not only do these videos showcase just some of the amazing talent and expertise available at the event, they also highlight an important deadline coming up this Friday.
If you would like to join the ranks of these V2V speakers, now is your opportunity to enter your programming idea into the SXSW PanelPicker. So what, exactly, is the PanelPicker, you ask?
First introduced in 2007 for the SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas, the PanelPicker is now used by all SXSW events to help shape conference programming. PanelPicker's two-step online process allows the SXSW community to have a voice in what sessions are scheduled at SXSW V2V 2014, providing a platform to submit, review, comment and vote on the speaking proposals that they want to see become a part of the event. If you are unfamiliar with the PanelPicker process, click here for a detailed rundown of how it works.
You have until 11:59pm CDT this Friday, April 11, to get your ideas into the PanelPicker. Public voting and comments will run Monday, April 21, through Friday, May 9, with a major programming announcement on Wednesday, May 21.
For those who have already started their proposals, remember that you must complete and submit your idea by 11:59pm CDT for it to be considered for the 2014 event. We can't wait to see your ideas.
