The designs and inspiration for this line come from Shira Wasserman, a graduate of the fashion program at Stephens College who has been designing jewelry since age 16. In discovering that accessories were either of superior quality with designer price tags or affordably priced but lasting only a few wears, she was inspired to create her own collection. Shira’s collection combines leather, gold-plated chain, and semi-precious pendants and can now be found in over 25 boutiques nationwide, as well as online.
JJWorldStudio is a photography concept created by Jennifer and Joseph Worth. The husband wife duo were selling photos from their recent trip to Europe when they started noticing Austin; South Austin in particular had a unique look. After receiving positive reactions from displaying Austin "pop" images, they were inspired to create a uniform look of bright colors, long exposures, and an overblown sky. At their storefront, South Austin Gallery, you can find their photographs, hand crafted coasters and cutting boards as well as vintage pearl snaps, reconstructed dresses and vinyl records.

Cross Cultural Creations is comprised of avid travelers always in search of an adventure. The elaborate metal jewelry of the Miao people in Southern China, the bizarre decorations adoring Karen Hill Tribe women in Northern Thailand, the vibrant and colorful weavings of Mayan craftspeople in the highlands of Guatemala, and the delicate hand embroidered textiles of the Hmong people of Northern Vietnam, Thailand and Laos. Many of the creations they collect are from people they encounter, but many they also make themselves. Each item has it's own story and cultural significance.
Brian began BDJ Craft Works in 2009, after years spent honing his skill, technique, and design approach building custom furniture for clients. It was in these special pieces of decor that he began to find deep satisfaction and further development of his creative voice. His wood work designs are hand made locally in Austin and consist of a series of glass lined wood vases, succulent planters and a series of photo frames, coin banks and and solid wood trays. Brian will be joined by guest artist Erin Griffin, silversmith and maker of tastefully designed jewelry.

Since 2002, Unusual Cards has produced a series of bizarre and hilarious pictures by remixing images from our collective American nostalgia. By blending together the unexpected, artist Francesca Berrini manages to squeeze the humor out of both the sacred and profane with her seamless, hand-cut collage work. Based in Portland, Oregon, this will be the first time Unusual Cards has participated in SXSW.
