New For '09: Trade Show Days & SXSW Block Party!

• You asked, we listened. SXSW is offering new trade show days! For the first time, the Film/Interactive Trade Show will start on Saturday, March 14 and run through Monday, March 16. Now you can visit the trade show and start networking right after you pick up your badge. No more standing outside the doors wondering when it will finally be open. This is just one of the many exciting new features at SXSW '09!



• Based on the ever-popular pub crawl, the SXSW Block Party is hosted by a number of trade show exhibitors. Registrants will be able to enjoy complimentary food and drinks while mingling with different exhibitors. For example, one booth may offer a wine bar while another is serving queso and margaritas.

  • Panels on these days will end by 4:30 pm

The Film and Interactive Trade Show + Exhibition reveals tools for development and productivity employed by digital creatives and filmmakers alike. Also represented are the regional, national and international companies that come together to promote their services and organizations supporting independent filmmaking and digital culture.
