About TexLUG
Howdy and welcome to the Texas LEGO® Users Group website, where LEGO® fans across Texas can find information, share ideas, and communicate with each other.
Who We Are:
We are adult fans of LEGO® that have come together because of our interests and obsessions with “the brick”. We share our ideas and experiences, we get togther to build and play, and we buy/sell/trade bricks with each other. TEXLUG is one of many LUGs (LEGO® User Groups) that exist around the world. Take a look at the LUGNET™ LUG map for more details.
What We Do:
Our primary functions are meetings, events, and other gatherings. We typically have a major meeting/event twice a year, and sometimes smaller local gatherings in between. If you’re interested in joining in the fun, please let us know!
(Children 17 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian.)
We have an online discussion forum. Please visit:
www.fineclonier.com/TexLug.
We also participate in online communication through our email group. We exchange ideas and pass on info about local sales and discounts, for example.
Sub (Local) Groups:
There are local TexLUG groups. Please see the front page and look for “TexLUG Links” on the right side column. Currently, only the local chapter in San Antonio has a seperate website. Houston, Austin, and D/FW have an active AFOLs, but no formal sites yet (local news and discussions are usually communicated via the main email list).
There is also a train club in Texas - NETLTC (North East Texas LEGO® Train Club). Although they are separate from TexLUG, we are all in contact with each other and share news and information. Visit their site for more details.
