Whether you play video games on your phone while waiting in line or on the couch for days at a time, everyone enjoys a good arcade. And for this one, you won't need to bring any extra quarters. This year the SXSW ScreenBurn Arcade has made a big move to the Palmer Events Center and is FREE and open to the public and SXSW registrants.

The 2012 SXSW ScreenBurn Arcade sponsored by Alienware is the place to be for the latest gaming announcements, product demos, cosplay competitions and exciting professional gaming tournaments. From casual gamers to franchise fans, this three-day event has something for everyone.
Arcade exhibitors range from top gaming companies to indie developers who will have booths showcasing hands-on game demos and offering networking opportunities. If you are entertained by the culture of gaming, then this is an experience you won't want to miss.
The Arcade Stage Presented by IGN
We are excited to announce the newest addition to SXSW ScreenBurn: The Arcade Stage presented by IGN. Some of the Arcade Stage events include pro gaming tournaments, behind-the-scenes panel talks about spring’s hottest game releases, a cosplay competition and more. On Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10, action-packed professional gaming tournaments presented by IGN Pro League will feature the critically acclaimed games StarCraft II and League of Legends.

Arcade Events
