SXSW Interactive has added another event to its schedule for Monday, March 10. Come by the ballroom in the Four Seasons Hotel at 3:30 pm today for “Personalizing the Brick & Mortar Shopping Experience”, a session about delivering the personal shopping experience in traditional retailers.
Marc Freed-Finnegan of Index is the speaker, and he will lead a talk about how the same type of technology that powers personalized shopping on Amazon and online stores can turn physical stores into competitors. The small guy can use big data to deliver a next generation in-store experience.
