Have you heard? SXSW Interactive is partnering with St. Edward’s University and Open Austin to produce the second ATX Hackathon for Change 2014 this May 31 - June 1. Things are gearing up and spots are filling, but we're still looking for hackers to get involved. If you are a coder, graphic designer, data junkie, information architect, UX designer, project manager, copywriter, or any other type of hack-enthusiast, please join us and register at atxhackforchange.org today!
Here's our goal: by providing a space for non-profits and other community organizations to directly access the skills and expertise of Austin’s most talented and giving technologists, we hope to facilitate the creation of tools and solutions that have long-term impact for the good of the city as a whole. The good news is, YOU can help! Participating hackers need only to sign up, show up, find the project that inspires them most, and join the team. What will follow is nearly two full days of creativity, project planning, development, and testing, culminating in a presentation on Sunday evening with feedback from an inspiring panel of subject matter experts.
