Be part of the Steve Case session at SXSW on Saturday, March 8

The afternoon of Saturday, March 8 at SXSW Interactive pulls together two very strong founder-focused sessions. These two sessions are “The Rest is Rising: Entrepreneurship in America” (3:30-4:30 in Exhibit Hall 5) and “One-on-One With Mark Cuban” (5:00-6:00 in Exhibit Hall 5).

Steve Case of Revolution will be lending his expertise to the “Rest is Rising” session; interviewing him will be Emily Chang of Bloomberg TV. But Case and Chang won’t be the only two experts on stage for this 3:30 session on Saturday, March 8. You (yes you!) can be part of this session by entering the Built By Immigrants contest organized by FWD.us.

The goal of this Built By Immigrants contest is to empower immigrants to tell their stories and encourage their friends and colleagues to share these stories with their members of Congress, turning storytelling into advocacy that is personal and powerful. We hope the Built By Immigrants contest provides another data point for Congress to enact badly-needed reforms on our immigration laws. Deadline to enter this contest is 5:00 PM CST on Friday, March 7. Winners of the contest will be notified via e-mail by 10:00 pm CST on Friday, March 7.

You must be a SXSW Interactive, Gold or Platinum registrant to be eligible for the March 8 promotion with the Steve Case session -- and you must be a current resident of the United States. Visit this link to learn complete contest rules.
