SXSW Gamers Voice Award: Uncovering the Future of Indie Gaming

Enter your project in the SXSW Gamer's Voice Award

The SXSW Gaming Expo allows you to catch a glimpse of the future of video games and a vision of the tomorrow’s top developers. As an organizer, I enjoy watching fans mingle and talk to their favorite developers after attending one of the sessions we program as part of SXSW Gaming. Fans ask, “How can I get my game discovered?” or “How do I take that next step in my game’s growth?”

This season, we give you the chance for both, and to be celebrated by your peers, when you submit your game for the first ever SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award. The top 10 nominees for this competition will gain free demo / booth space in the Indie Showcase, March 7-9 on the SXSW Gaming Expo Floor, where thousands of gaming fans will play and demo your games. Votes from these gaming fans determine who wins the first-ever SXSW Gamer’s Voice prize, which is part of the inaugural SXSW Gaming Awards ceremony on Saturday night, March 8 at the Long Center.

To submit your project for the SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award, and to learn more about the rules and regulations, please visit the Official SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award page. The deadline to enter is Friday, December 13 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
