December 13 is entry deadline for the 2014 SXSW Gamer's Voice Award

I want to take a moment to thank all of the amazing developers who have submitted their projects for the SXSW Gamer's Voice Award.

You guys are ALL an inspiration! It has been an immense pleasure playing through your games; your passions, and your labors of love. Perhaps one of the coolest parts of the process, is seeing these amazing works and learning where in the world they have been developed.  Along with the many developers here in the U.S. we have entries from all over Europe, South America, Australia, Mexico, and so many more countries in between. With such a diverse crowd of people developing games today, I can't help but anticipate even more exciting days are ahead in the video game industry, with advances in storytelling, technology and other gameplay innovations.

I am overwhelmed and overjoyed by your support, and here at SXSW Gaming we will do our best to return that support. Through the SXSW Gaming Awards, and the indie game specific SXSW Gamer's Voice category, we intend to provide a platform for you to show off your work, and to reward some of the brightest developers out there, at what we hope will continue to be one of the most fun gaming festivals out there.

If you are interested in submitting your game for the 2014 SXSW Gaming Awards, and SXSW Gamer's Voice category, there is still time. There is no entry fee for this competition, and all games are welcome (even card and board games)!  The deadline to enter your game is Friday, December 13 at 11:59 pm CT.  To enter your project for the SXSW Gamer's Voice Award, and to learn more about the rules and regulations, please visit the Official SXSW Gamer's Voice Award page.
