SXSW Panel 101: Get a Seat By Arriving Early

So, please remember to arrive early if there is a panel or presentation that you really really really want to see. How early? We recommend getting to the given room 10 minutes ahead of the published start time for a panel or a solo presentation.

Sonicbids is the official online submission partner for SXSW 2010. Your Sonicbids EPK allows you to quickly and easily compile all of the info SXSW wants to see about your act - your music, bio, photos and more. If you don't have an EPK yet, don't worry. They'll help you create one as part of your application.

Start with the FAQs for your area of interest and move on from there. Get on the SXSW mailing list for informational mailers and emails. Sign up for monthly listservs. If you crave human interaction, email the SXSW office sxsw@sxsw.com for help and information.

SXSW 101: How Do I Register and Book My Hotel?

courtyardmarriotdt.jpgThe SXSW online registration system will lead you through the simple process of buying the badge of your choice. Confirmed SXSW attendees (registrants, exhibitors, etc.) then get access to the online Hotel Requester where they book their room through the SXSW Housing Desk.
