Hip hop mega-star 50 Cent joined us during SXSW Music for an exclusive interview covering the breadth of his career. Hardknock.tv's Nick Huff Barili delved into 50's life, starting with the tenth-anniversary look back at the legendary "Get Rich Or Die Trying," a sales success 50 doubts he or anyone will be able to replicate in today's music industry. 50 explained his loyalty and desire to provide for the artists he takes under his wing with G-Unit, the evolution of hip hop metaphors over the last decade, and how he balances his busy life outside of making music.
Winners of the Inaugural Grulke Prize for Developing U.S. Act at SXSW 2013, Haim have had a busy year so far and it does not appear to be slowing down for this trio of siblings from Los Angeles. In addition to the Grulke Prize, Haim were named winners of BBC’s Sound of 2013.
SXSW V2V is hitting the road this summer to meet up with entrepreneurs, digital creatives and tech professionals from around the country who want to share a drink, mingle, and learn more about what SXSW has planned for its first-ever event in Las Vegas this August. The drinks are on us!
SXSW has been keeping a close eye on the Ornana Films team since their film (notes on) biology won the Animated Short Award at SXSW 2012. They returned this year with the world premiere of their visionary feature film euphonia.
Each year SXSW Eco travels around the country to host networking events for local sustainability communities and meet innovators in the diverse fields represented at SXSW Eco.

In light of the past week’s tragic events we are grateful to the Boston community for having us. SXSW is deeply saddened by the events that took place in Boston and in West, Texas last week. To show our support to those most affected by these events we've established an online giving site through the SXSW Community Fund. Donations made through this site will go to American Red Cross Disaster Relief.
