Then check out the Film Experience Hackathon taking place October 13th & 14th in New York City. The event is designed to "build hacks that bring together technology, multimedia, and data to enrich the end-to-end movie experience," and "improve the overall experience of seeking out, watching, and engaging with movies."

Brenda passed away on Saturday, September 29 in Austin following a long, heroic battle with cancer. Her passion for music and the people who created it led to a position as Panels Coordinator for SXSW from 1988-1992 – the lean, early years when a comparative handful of people worked insanely long hours putting the event together.
