Welcome to the nearly final edition of What's Happening! I'll have one for whoever's left in this town tomorrow afternoon. Thanks so much for coming to ye olde SXSW and we hope you've had a perfectly nice time in our little town.
Every March, creatives of all stripes gather in Austin to witness, share and inspire the visions that will galvanize the filmmakers and ideas of tomorrow. SXSW Film Conference & Festival champions the vitality, innovation and opportunity that drives the entertainment and media landscape, and boldly tackles the evolution of all aspects of “film” today, down to its very definition.
A nexus of discovery and collaborative energy, SXSW Film celebrates the art and business of the possible.

On Thursday morning of this year's SXSW Music and Media Conference we paid tribute to our friend and colleague, Creative Director Brent Grulke, who passed away last August. It was a lovely celebration, thanks in part to Alan Berg and our pals at Arts + Labor, who produced this video that aired before Dave Grohl's keynote.
Take a closer look at winning poster for Kiss of the Damned (pictured here), as well as images across all the categories, including shorts, Texas High School and all the main categories.
The votes are in! Audiences have been frantically handing in post-screening ballots all week, and we're pleased to finally reveal the winners of the SXSW 2013 Audience Awards - click on a title to select the repeat screenings for your schedule!
