To start the film submission process for SXSW 2015, decide what type of film you are submitting and click the corresponding blue link in the grid above.

Filmmakers submitting a Feature Film to SXSW have two options:
1. Provide a URL link to a secure, online version of your film.
2. Send two DVD or Blu-Ray copies, mailed to SXSW.

Please choose whichever option works best for you, or you can submit both ways. It is entirely your choice. If you are submitting discs, these deadlines are on a RECEIVED BY basis, (NOT based on a postmark date). This means your film must arrive at the SXSW offices no later than the date corresponding to the deadline (and fee) for which you submitted. That means November 13, 2014 for late submissions (not including Texas High School).

ALL Short Film, Music Video, Texas High School and Title Sequence submissions MUST be submitted to SXSW by URL link to an online version of your film on an external site (i.e. your own website, YouTube HD, Vimeo, etc.) and you will be asked to provide that URL as part of your application. If this URL requires the use of login information to access the film, you will be asked to provide that as well.

Please note, SXSW considers Short Film submissions to be all films under 40 minutes in length, including all credits.

For more information on film submissions, watch the How To Submit Your Film video above and read the Film Submission FAQ here.
