An Austin institution, the Alamo Drafthouse is as much a part of local lore as breakfast tacos and Willie Nelson, and SXSW will once again be hosting a whole range of films in some of their unique theaters.
The Alamo Ritz is in the heart of 6th Street, with two great theaters that allow you to order food and drinks (including liquor!) from the comfort of your seat. There's a whole host of film options, including Midnighters, Visions, Documentary and Narrative Spotlight categories and more!
SXSatellite venues also return for SXSW 2013, and are hosted at the Alamo Village to the North, and Alamo Slaughter to the South. These venues are outside the downtown footprint of the festival and are not serviced by the Film Festival Shuttle, but offer additional screening opportunities to our filmmakers and local film audience. They feature a full menu of food and drink - beer included!
Check out the full venues list here, and be sure to browse our Film Schedule and start planning your SXSW Film experience!
