We are excited to announce that actress Sophia Bush of One Tree Hill and Van Wilder and former NFL star Dhani Jones will speak at Startup Alley on the session The New ROI: Return on Influence — How Influencers should Leverage their Social Capital in the Startup World.

Adam Lilling, the co-founder of Launchpad LA and the managing director of Plus Capital, will moderate the conversation as these two influencers discuss their involvement with early stage companies.

Bush is involved with an array of startups, including serving as an advisor to SoundTracking, as an advisor and partner at Crowdrise and as an investor in StyleSeat and Uber.

A former linebacker with the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and Cincinnati Bengals, as well as host of his own show on the Travel Channel (Dhani Tackles the Globe), Jones now works with Al Gore's climate change initiative and as the Founder of BowTie Cause, a philanthropic organization that donates proceeds from bow tie sales to various charities.

Joining Jones and Bush on the panel will be Walter Delph, CEO of Adly, a startup that connects brands with consumers via the most influential people in social media, and Chris Kantrowitz, serial entrepreneur in gaming, tech and music and currently the founder and CEO of Gobbler.
