Movie trailers can be the best advertisement for your film. Ever wanted to get expert advice on how to improve your film’s trailer? Now you can.

For the first time this year the SXSW Film Conference is holding the Trailer Park. Organized by critic and filmmaker Gerald Peary, the members of the Trailer Park will screen and then give feedback on your trailers. The panel includes Gerald Peary, filmmaker Kris Swanberg, producer Alex Lipschultz, as well as special guests editor Garret Savage and Richard Lorber of Kino Lorber.

The Trailer Park will have two rounds on the Getty Day Stage in the Austin Convention Center. The first round will be at 3:30 PM on Sunday March 9th, and the second round will at 5:00 PM on Monday March 10th. Garret Savage will join the panel on Sunday and Richard Lorber will join on Monday.

During each round of the Trailer Park the panel will screen six trailers and then give advice on how each one can be improved. Whether you are simply interested in the art of the film trailer, or you hope they choose to screen the trailer to your film, the Trailer Park promises to be a good time.

In order to enter your trailer for a chance to be screened at the Trailer Park, all you have to do is send an e-mail to trailerparkSXSW@gmail.com. Please put the title of your film in the subject line and include a streaming link of your trailer. Think yours is up to scratch? Bring it to the Trailer Park and prove it!
