SXSW Title Design Competition

Following the success of 2009’s SXSW® Film/AIGA Austin Film Poster Award, SXSW established the annual SXSW Film Design Awards, and added "Excellence in Title Design" Award in 2010 as special contest to discover the best in contemporary Title Sequence design.

Title Sequence Submission Info

• Title Sequence submissions are $10.
• The deadline to submit your Title Sequence is Friday, December 9, 2010.
• All Title Sequence submissions must be hosted online. (e.g YouTube HD Vimeo or Your Personal Website)
• Finalists will be notified upon acceptance and will need to send us a broadcast quality version of the sequence by February 26th, 2011.

Film Poster Design Awards

• All films accepted for screening in the SXSW Film Festival will be eligible to submit their poster for the Film Poster Design Award.
• Submitted posters will be on display for festival registrants and the general public during the SXSW Film Festival.
• Accepted films will be given instructions and deadlines for submitting their poster.
