Filmmakers in Focus keeps on keeping on, and this edition looks at four films that deal with some controversial issues and subjects.
A Teacher dissects a most inappropriate teacher/student relationship; Milo is, well, an "ass monster movie"; Snap takes us on "a dark and terrifying journey into the depths of the psychopathic mind"; and Unhung Hero confronts the ultimate questions - does size matter?

Kickback with Canon on Monday, March 11 for an evening of celebration with SXSW's creative community. Get your hands on Canon's latest technology while mingling over food, drinks and beats with fellow directors, cinematographers, producers and digital content gurus. The evening will feature a one of kind interactive DJ performance. Check out Pulse, the EOS C100 film inspired by this new technology.

I listen to Rory Scovel a fair amount vis a vis Doug Loves Movies, and I'm psyched he'll be here for the most excellent SXSW Comedy programming, which I've watched grow from having pretty much my own private Marc Maron show (which was f'ing amazes) into this THING that is big and groovy thanks to Charlie Sotelo who books this stuff like nobody's business.

Throughout SXSW, Chevrolet will showcase a variety of in-vehicle technology and research that aims to inspire festival-goers to steer off the beaten path. The Chevrolet team aims to show how technology, like Chevrolet MyLink, allows a personalized in-vehicle experience with the information you want and the music you love. The 2013 Chevrolet Sonic and Spark are the first vehicles to offer Siri Eyes Free integration, complementing Chevrolet MyLink's existing capabilities to help deliver an incredible driving experience.

Expect plenty of mischief at SXSW Comedy this year - and not just because we'll be taking over three venues for dozens of shows during the festival. Say hello to The Mischief, two days of programming at The North Door (502 Brushy Street) presented by CleftClips, Funny or Die, and Team Coco.
