SXSW 2013 is here and Stardition is here with it, but they have their eyes on SXSW 2014. The local Austin startup is launching a platform that it hopes will revolutionize the industry itself by streamlining the process from pre-production and casting calls through distribution and revenue generation. Stardition wants to connect the right dots, uniting film industry folks across the globe to ensure cool projects get off the ground faster and easier than ever before.
The bar is three customers deep and the bartenders are in the weeds at the greatest cocktail party since before Prohibition. Two bartenders try to achieve their dreams through bartending. An injured Marine turns his goals to becoming a principal bartender at the best cocktail bar in the world. A young man leaves his white collar job to buy the corner bar in his hometown, and years later he struggles to keep it afloat.
Christmastime is looking swell for pretty, unassuming real-estate-agent Suzanne Barrington: she just sold a house to a nice swinger couple; her weatherman husband Jeff scored a sweet new job; and her favorite holiday is quickly approaching. After a sudden tragedy takes Jeff away, Suzanne is left lost and lonely. Even worse, a friend of his confesses a secret: there’s another woman. Her name's Fantasia and she works at the "girl club." In their grief, the two women form an awkward but meaningful friendship.

Located inside the Austin Convention Center, the Vimeo Theater is at the heart of the conference and festival, and within easy walking distance of the Alamo Ritz, VCC, Stateside and Paramount Theatre.
Come to VICELAND (401 E. Cesar Chavez) on March 11 at 7pm to hear the unreleased soundtrack to the much-anticipated film from NBC Universal, Oblivion, starring Tom Cruise.
The soundtrack will feature new music from a number of great artists, including M83. This listening party is part of an amazing selection of programming and events at VICELAND called the 'Oblivion Experience’.
