One of Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces of Independent Film," Hannah Fidell is a graduate of the New School and writer and director of A Teacher, her first feature film. A product of the Brooklyn-Austin corridor, Hannah knows the Austin landscape well enough to have already identified two of its most abundant and cherished natural resources: the Alamo Drafthouse and sunlight. Both, as far as most here are concerned, life itself.

HGTV Presents Stages On Sixth!

HGTV bring the noise in 2013! This year’s Paste party at SXSW will be bigger than ever. Four days. 44 bands. Two stages. Free drinks.

HGTV has teamed up with Paste for their ninth annual party at SXSW March 13-16. With 11 bands per day, the lineup includes both some of the festival’s most exciting veteran performers including Billy Bragg, Buddy Miller & Jim Lauderdale, Josh Ritter and The Zombies, as well as newcomers like Foxygen, The Lone Bellow and GUARDS. The SXSW Official four-day party will be held at one of 6th Street’s biggest music venues, The Stage on Sixth (508 E. 6th Street), from noon to 6pm.
