Tuesday is Convergence Day
New for 2013, we're offering Music, Film and Interactive attendees a taste of the SXSW Platinum badge experience with what we call "Convergence Day." Only on Tuesday, March 12, the 4th floor of the Austin Convention Center will be open to all SXSW badges. With featured Interactive and Film sessions, as well as the first day of Music conference programming -- you won't want to miss out.

The Long Center
This special venue located just across the river is perhaps the best kept secret of SXSW 2013. Convergence programming kicks off on Friday, March 8 and is open to Film, Interactive, Gold and Platinum badges.
Beginning Monday, March 11, Music badgeholders can access the Long Center for this amazing programming that includes Spotify's Daniel Ek, They Might Be Giants with Eugene Mirman, Sean Parker, Shawn Fanning and many more.
Room 18ABCD in the Austin Convention Center
Running Friday, March 8 through Tuesday, March 12, Room 18ABCD contains sessions that showcase the convergence between the Film and Interactive industries, including a focus on the future of television. Open to Film, Interactive, Gold and Platinum attendees.
The Digital Domain in the Austin Suite
SXSW Film presents the latest web series', interactive documentaries, apps, rich media projects, data visualizations, infographics, web-generated content and more. The Digital Domain runs Saturday, March 9 through Tuesday, March 12 in the Austin Suite of the Austin Convention Center.
The Day Stage in Ballroom G
This convergent space on the 4th floor of the Austin Convention Center contains both Film and Interactive content, primarily the ever-popular Book Readings. It will be open to Film, Interactive, Gold and Platinum badgeholders.
Interactive Meet Up Tent
On Tuesday, March 12, this special Meet Up venue will be open to Music and Film attendees. Don't miss opportunities to mingle such as the Steampunk Meet Up and the Music Meets Tech Meet Up.
