There are lots of you-had-to-be-there moments at SXSW; when so many people from the film, interactive, music and comedy worlds hang out in the same place, amazing things happen. If only there was some way to record it all...

Comedy fans, get ready for a week of live podcast recordings (alongside SXSW Comedy's packed schedule of standup, improv and sketch showcases, panels and parties). All live podcast recordings will be at the Esther's Follies (525 E. 6th Street) stage, presented by TuneIn, and they're open to all SXSW badge and wristband holders. Here's your guide to the shows you can check out next week (and look forward to listening to forever):

Saturday March 9
with host Scott Aukerman (6pm)
Originally a cult hit on LA's Indie 103 radio, Comedy Bang Bang has become one of the funniest podcasts out there, blending in-depth interviews with improvised bits, fictional guests, games and more. Host Aukerman (a former writer on Mr. Show, and co-creator of Between Two Ferns) delivers insight and absurdity in equal amounts and the results are always amazing. You can also catch Comedy Bang Bang on IFC and the Video Podcast Network.

Sunday March 10
with host Marc Maron (4pm)
Highly regarded as the gold standard of comedy podcasts, WTF presents raw and honest conversations with some of the biggest names in comedy, film, music and more. As much an open book as any of his guests, Maron's infamous opening monologues give a revealing look at the comic's life, and this spring, IFC's Maron brings fans even farther behind the, slightly fictionalized, scenes.
One of our favorite episodes: #297 with Fiona Apple

with host Matt Besser (6pm)
Matt Besser is one of the world's busiest improvisers; in addition to co-founding the iconic Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, bringing guerilla improv to TV with shows like Crossballs, and appearing on almost every network comedy, he's found a way to capture an art form characterized by its impermanence while highlighting some of the smartest performers in the game. (The Video Podcast Network has some archived episodes, too).

Monday March 11
with host Brett Gelman (6pm)
Brett Gelman (Go On, Eagleheart) isn't afraid to get weird - like, really really weird - and Gelmania is the proof. More than just a variety show, it's a collection of sketches, slam poetry, short stories, and monologues all delivered with a decidedly skewed sense of humor.
One of our favorite episodes: #16 The Best of Gelmania Year 1

Tuesday March 12
with host Kevin Pollak (6pm)
You've seen him onscreen in classics like The Usual Suspects and Casino, but Kevin Pollak's also an accomplished podcaster; his latest show, Talkin Walkin, showcases his comic range as he expertly channels everyone's favorite deadpan actor. Get a glimpse into the life of host "Christopher Walken" as he attempts to interview comics and colleagues.
One of our favorite episodes: #4 with Joe Lo Truglio

Wednesday March 13
with hosts Howard Kremer and Kulap Vilaysack (6:30pm)
Possibly the most high energy, hilarious hosting duo in podcasting, Kremer and Vilaysack compile top charts and esoteric lists as conversation starters that often lead to unexpected and memorable moments. From Kremer's segment themes to the dozens of recurring jokes that thread through episodes, there's lots to love. You can also see some live episodes on the Video Podcast Network.
One of our favorite episodes: #106 "Alpha Dinghy" with Weird Al Yankovic

Friday March 15
with host Jake Fogelnest (6:30pm)
Whatever you're into, Jake Fogelnest (former Squirt TV and current Sirius XM host) knows all about it - and incidentally, he's got this amazing video to show you... Each themed episode takes a trip into Fogelnest's extensive, highly coveted collection of obscure videos and recordings to bring us some of the most amazing pop culture moments of the past few decades.

Saturday March 16
with host Doug Benson (6:30pm)
It wouldn't be SXSW without a visit from Benson, host of several top podcasts including The Benson Interruption (as seen on Comedy Central), a show that promises standup sets from some of our host's funniest friends and delivers plenty of interjections and off topic observations.

All SXSW Comedy podcast guests are special surprises and won't be announced ahead of time - you'll have to show up to see who's on!
