Spotlighting the international creative community, SXAméricas highlights a series of events curated by SXSW Music, Interactive and Film festivals to connect U.S. Latino and Latin American technology, music, and film industry thought leaders. SXAméricas is a platform to network, share innovative ideas, and create new partnerships across all creative industries from North America, South America, Spain and Central America.
SXAméricas events, selected from the 10 days of SXSW Film, Interactive and Music, will span SXSWeek, March 13-22, 2015. Special convergence programming will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 (which is officially known as Convergence Day at SXSW).
Drawing from the existing programs of SXSW Music, Interactive and Film and including unique events curated for SXAméricas, most conference programming will occur at the Austin Convention Center. Film Screenings and Music showcases will take place at various official SXSW venues around Austin.
