Growing Popularity of SXSW Gaming:
The three-day SXSW Gaming Expo has emerged as one of the most exciting elements of the SXSW Interactive Festival, thrilling registrants and consumers alike with the latest innovations in video games and geek culture. For 2014, we took the show to the next level with the addition of the first-ever SXSW Gaming Awards.

2014 SXSW Gaming Awards Ceremony:
This ceremony honored the year's best major studio games, as well as recognized the most innovative titles from the indie side of the fence. The SXSW Gaming Awards took place Saturday evening, March 8 in the Dell Hall (pictured above) at the Long Center.

2014 SXSW Gaming Awards Co-Emcees:
The co-emcees for the 2014 SXSW Gaming Awards ceremony are two of the most popular figures on YouTube, iJustine and SMOSH.

SXSW Gaming Awards Entertainment:
The 2014 SXSW Gaming Awards featured brand new videos from Rooster Teeth, Wren the Reaper, Adam de la Pena of Unpossible Productions, and a very special video from you guessed it, SMOSH! We were also extremely happy to welcome a new and never before seen performance by Cirque du Soleil!

How to Attend the SXSW Gaming Awards:
The SXSW Gaming Awards show is FREE and open to the public! SXSW Interactive, Gold and Platinum badgeholders receive early entry and preferred seating.

Location of the SXSW Gaming Awards:
The SXSW Gaming Awards took place at Dell Hall in the Long Center for the Performing Arts. This venue is located at 701 West Riverside Drive, a mere stone's throw away from the Palmer Events Center, where the SXSW Gaming Expo resides.
